Rigid Box
Rigid Boxes, also called set-up boxes, are sturdy and do not fold or collapse as foldable boxes do. They are often considered as high-end packaging solutions, especially when the value of the product is perceived as high, and they are used when the product within is heavy and in need of extra support. An iPhone box is an example of a rigid box.
Offer
The material used for rigid boxes can either be Greyboard based or Wood. Greyboard consists of several layers of recycled fibers that give the box its strength and distinctive properties.
It is also commonly used for reinforcing the top and bottom of hand made paper bags. The cover material can either be Art Paper or Special Paper.
Art paper is whiter than white card, not as stiff, and allows for a high level of print quality. Not only is it used to cover Rigid Boxes where a premium print quality finish is required, but also for Hand Made Paper Bags.
Rigid Boxes value is perceived as higher by the consumer since expensive looking boxes usually correspond to better quality products.
There is a huge selection of materials and finishing for rigid boxes, which make them look and feel different to consumers.
